Qwest Outside Plant Maintenance, Relocations and Emergency Call-Out

From the mid-2000s Cannon carried general construction and maintenance for Qwest in Washington and Oregon with 24-hour emergency call-out service. The King County general and maintenance contract covered Sea-Tac, Burien, Seattle, Shoreline, Bellevue, Tukwila, Renton, Issaquah and Newcastle. The work ran from trenching, plowing, rock sawing and directional drilling to asphalt paving, new plat construction, fiber and copper placement, manholes, duct bank, DSL cabinets and fiber to the node upgrades. Cannon also relocated Qwest facilities for the Lake Union trolley line in Seattle and drove a 200 foot, 18 inch dry bore under five railroad tracks for a four-way duct run through DOT right of way.
