King County PSERN Power Extension
Power extension for the King County Puget Sound Emergency Radio Network, carrying 15kV primary from the public utility district to a radio antenna site so the county’s emergency communications network had a permanent power feed. Cannon executed 14,000 feet of directional bore to place the primary underground across the route, avoiding surface disturbance and the terrain between the utility and the site. Junction and transformer vaults were set along the bore path, 15kV conductors installed and terminated, and the extended system tested and turned up before the county took the feed into service.
