JBLM Overhead Neutral Replacement, McChord Field
Replacement of primary neutral conductor across the McChord Field distribution system at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, performed for City Light & Power JBLM under its utility privatization of the base electrical system as phase 2 of the overhead neutral program. Cannon installed 123,943 feet of primary neutral wire in four conductor sizes on existing poles, with the pole hardware, anchors and grounding that went with it, and wrecked out the existing neutral wherever the print set called for removal. The distribution system stayed energized throughout and the work was sequenced around base operations, tracked pole by pole against the master tracker.
