Indian Island Shore Power Extension

Shore power extension for NAVFAC Northwest at Naval Magazine Indian Island, through SeaBay Building Group, bringing a 15kV system out to a newly constructed ammunition pier so vessels could take power from shore rather than run generators at berth. Cannon set 143 distribution poles to carry the line out to the pier, then installed overhead conductor, pole mounted transformers and secondary services along the route. The work was performed on an active naval magazine, which governs access, sequencing and safety.
