Fall Protection Awareness
Falls are among the leading causes of traumatic occupational death. Any worker at six feet or more needs to know the practices and the equipment; this course covers both, against OSHA 29 CFR 1926.500.
Who it is for and what it covers
OSHA requires a competent person on every job site: someone with the experience and knowledge to recognize fall hazards, correct unsafe conditions and shut down the work until they are fixed. This course delivers the training behind that requirement and goes beyond introductory awareness into what it takes to create a safe working environment for the people you are responsible for.
