Confined Space
Hazard recognition and control for confined spaces using real examples, including the EM 385-1-1 requirements for contractors, military and government employees working with USACE and NAVFAC.
Who it is for and what it covers
The course covers unsafe, unsanitary and dangerous conditions in confined spaces and how to control them, from permit requirements and ventilation through air monitoring, PPE and rescue equipment. Cannon's own confined space vault simulator gives students hands-on practice.

Classes run at our Milton, WA center (60 students) and at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (30 students). Both have hands-on simulators: cellular tower, pole top rescue pole, communication hut and confined space vault.
