Kirtland AFB Outside Plant Infrastructure

The outside plant infrastructure at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque is one of the larger fiber builds in Cannon's history: approximately 118 miles of fiber optic cable, more than 26 miles of conduit, over 44 miles of trenching and over 11 miles of directional boring, with 190 new handholes, six manholes and about 7,430 fibers terminated. The upgraded system was built to serve more than 17,700 users.
