Fort Jackson I3MP Base-Wide Upgrade
Cannon carried a base-wide Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP) effort at Fort Jackson, South Carolina: engineer, furnish, install, secure, test, migrate and cut over a turn-key upgrade of the installation’s data and outside plant facilities. The base’s I3MP quality assurance lead, who had worked 11 I3MP base projects in the United States and Germany, wrote that he had seen none better than the Cannon crews: “From the first shovelful of dirt to the last sweep of the broom, they really get the job done.”
Services Employed:
- Turn-key I3MP upgrade: engineer, furnish, install, secure, test, migrate and cut over
- Base-wide outside plant upgrade of the existing data infrastructure and facilities
- Outside plant and inside plant crews working across the installation
- Daily coordination with the Network Enterprise Center and the base organizations it serves
- Quality assurance feedback naming the crews’ attention to detail and continuous communication
