Edwards AFB Base-Wide Telecommunications Survey and Infrastructure Build
At Edwards Air Force Base, home of the Air Force Flight Test Center, Cannon first surveyed the entire base telecommunications infrastructure: more than 275,000 feet of existing conduit rodded, proofed and verified, 700 manholes purged, pumped and verified, and 175 buildings surveyed and as-built. The build that followed placed 564,000 feet of duct bank and 189 miles of fiber optic cable, set 167 manholes and handholes, installed 240,250 feet of Maxcell, bored 9,459 feet and wired the inside plant of 215 buildings.
