Best-value design and installation of premise wiring and information systems
Cannon provides end-to-end design and installation of structured cabling, backbone, fiber to the desktop and the information management systems that run on them, with BICSI and FOA certified technicians working under staffed RCDDs. Clients include the Department of Defense and its prime contractors, utilities and public utility districts, city and county agencies, school districts, and carriers such as Comcast, Astound and Zayo.

Network architecture
Data, voice and video integration, LAN and WAN system implementation, and specialized high-speed data and communication networks for institutional and industrial sites.
Fiber to the desktop and MDU
Fiber to the desktop, GPON and PON MDU installation and configuration, FTTP, FTTH and FTTN solutions from the building entrance to the unit.
Splicing, termination and testing
Loose tube and ribbon splicing, hot splice, butt splice and ring cut techniques, precision termination, certification testing and troubleshooting with results delivered in the closeout package.
DAS, wireless and security
Distributed antenna systems, wireless access point deployment, secure CCTV, access control and advanced information management systems.
Data center and central office
Data center and central office construction, cable tray and ladder rack, overhead and underfloor pathways, and abandoned cable wreck-out ahead of new installation.
Classified and unclassified networks on the installation
Cannon installs and certifies premise cabling for secure and non-secure networks on military installations, including SIPRNet and NIPRNet installation services, Category 6 and 6A systems in occupied facilities, live cutovers and the telecommunications infrastructure upgrades that run across dozens of buildings at a time, such as the 27-building CITS upgrade at McChord Field.
Crews are badged and DBIDS credentialed where the work is, projects run to USACE EM 385-1-1, and the information security program behind the drawings and as-builts is built to NIST SP 800-171. The federal services page covers credentials, registrations and contracting paths; the quality page covers testing, documentation and information security.

Electrical administrators on staff for the building side
The inside plant group works alongside Cannon's electrical administrators and electricians, so a tenant improvement or new construction scope can include electrical system installation and upgrades, routine maintenance and emergency repairs, energy-efficient lighting, power distribution and load analysis, and customized automation and control systems under one contract. High voltage and site electrical scope is on the power page.
BICSI Authorized Training Facility
Cannon operates a BICSI Authorized Training Facility staffed with an on-site Registered Communications Distribution Designer, so the technicians on a Cannon job are trained and current on the standards they install to. See BICSI training and training courses.
